Janelle wondered how Kody handled the family money
Janelle said Cody was arrested for the family’s inability to pay the wolf pass. However, I watched him pick up other assets like trailers and home decor. “I see all the art on their walls,” she said of Robin and Cody’s home. “I see all these things. And that’s good, I have money and I spend it on things too.” (For his part, Cody said a lot of his money went into buying cars — “it was basically a fleet” — and insurance for the kids.)
And while Janelle admitted that she wasn’t sure how Kody and Robin would handle their money, “I used to always be surprised by how nice her backyard was. It was completely finished. And there was always, like, stuff in her house. And I was like, ‘Wow.’
“He doesn’t prioritize what I need or what I want,” she said. In the end, the case wore it out. “I think after a while, I started seeing it, and my kids were getting it very Angry about it, as are my adult children. Like, “What the hell, mom?”
However, Robin was taking it that she was very careful with her budget after the collapse of her first marriage.
“I used to not be great with money,” she shared during the September 22 episode. When I was young, I had tough ways, and then through my divorce I really learned how to handle myself very well. As for her fellow sister wives, she said, “You have to have a different priority of where your money is going, that’s all.”
