A Spanish tourist is kidnapped by ISIS terrorists in Algeria and transported to Mali | The world | news

ISIS kidnapped a Spanish tourist while on vacation in Algeria, according to local media.
Reports, which have not been independently confirmed by Express, indicate that fighters captured the tourist in the south of the country before transporting her across the border to neighboring Mali.
It is said that the kidnappers belong to the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara, and that they released her under guard, and only took the woman.
Mali has been plagued by armed Islamist groups linked to Al Qaeda and the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara in recent years, and attacks against civilians have become common.
The Austrian Foreign Ministry said on Sunday that news of the kidnapping comes just days after an Austrian citizen was kidnapped by gunmen in northern Niger.
Armed men stormed Eva Gretzmacher’s home in Agadez and took her away in a car. No one has yet claimed responsibility for that attack.
The 73-year-old is known in the local community for her social projects that focus on education and women’s empowerment. She has faced kidnapping threats before.
