Watch an octopus drag a model underwater – while the monster crawls over his body and traps him in its tentacles
THIS is the horrifying moment a massive model is attacked by an aggressive octopus that grabs his body and drags him underwater.
Italian Federico Cola He was enjoying the Indian Ocean while on vacation in the Seychelles when he was preyed upon by the tentacled monster.
The footage shows the ripped Milan-based influencer surfing in the clear waters before an octopus suddenly pounces on him.
It wraps its eight limbs around the man’s leg before pulling him down.
Cola appears to panic for a few seconds as he falls backwards and splashes his arms into the ocean.
The video then shows his legs in the air as the sea creature continues to drag Cola’s leg.

Moments later, the model was able to grab the octopus, remove it from its body and lift it into the air.
Kula’s arm is seen covered in what look like octopus lollipop marks.
The model shared the surprising interaction with her 135,000 Instagram followers.
The follow-up clip reveals how Cola decided to become friends with the octopus rather than be overwhelmed by the interactions.
He carries it from the water to the beach before showing it to the camera.
The pair play for a few minutes as Kula splashes water on him and lets him climb onto his back.
In one short clip, Kula appears to allow the octopus to act as a backpack as it slowly crawls up its upper body and extends its tentacles around its head.
The Instagram post was captioned: “What a magical surprise this first year. I found my love (actually she found me) haha.”
The interaction happened on New Year’s Day with the post already garnering over 1.1 million likes.
Dozens of people flocked to the comments section as they praised Kula for his bravery.
One said: “I would have died if I felt something pressing down on my leg underwater – I would have screamed, tried to run, and fainted…
“I love that this guy was so brave and stable and enjoyed the interaction.”

Others were impressed by the relationship between the pair after the initial scare.

Lance Carlson, 34, first saw the monster when a seagull attacked near the Ramada Resort in Geographe Bay in Australia while he was walking with his two-year-old daughter.
Carlson posted footage of the attack online with the caption: “The angriest octopus in Geograph Bay!”
