The powerful personality, who anchored sports, food, lifestyle and celebrity red carpet shows, has died on the Gold Coast of an undisclosed condition. The Sydney-born star, who called herself KJ, died just weeks before her 49th birthday, and her younger brother Isaac Humphries and friends posted condolences.

Mr Humphreys said details of Kayleigh Jay’s funeral would be announced soon, with her burial likely to take place next week.
“Our world is sadder now that she is no longer with us,” a Facebook post by Kylie Jay’s parents said.
