Trump-Obama viral chat: Donald Trump loves this version of viral lip-reading as Obama calls Kamala Harris ‘horrible’
Donald Trump never revealed what he and former President Barack Obama discussed in the viral footage from Jimmy Carter’s funeral although he happily commented on it and said he probably liked Obama. But Trump makes sure to post a made-up version of the lip-reading in which Barack Obama said, “Kamala Harris was terrible.”
Forensic reader Jeremy Freeman interpreted that Obama and Trump said they needed to find a quiet place to talk.
“I can’t talk, we have to find a quiet place sometime. This is an important matter and we have to do it outside so we can definitely deal with it today.”
“I pulled out of it. It’s the circumstances. Can you believe it?” Trump said, and Obama nodded.
When asked about the unusual camaraderie, Trump said he later watched the video and marveled that they looked like two people who loved each other in the video. “I didn’t realize how friendly it looked…I was like, ‘Boy, they look like two people who love each other.’ “And maybe we will,” Trump said. “We have a little different philosophies, right? But maybe we do. I don’t know. We just agreed. But I got along with almost everyone,” Trump said, without revealing anything about what they discussed.
Since then, several versions of lip-reading, which were clearly made-up, have become widespread. On Sunday, Donald Trump shared one on his Truth Social site — without any comment that might indicate he liked the explanation.

OBAMA: Well, Mr. President
Trump: For the second time. Barack, very nice to see you
Obama: Congratulations. So how are you?
Trump: Much better now
Obama: Yes, I bet. I knew you would win.
Trump: Oh really! Come on, anyone can hit her
Obama: You’re kidding me! I felt terrible. Do you know what happened? He (Biden) doesn’t want to leave
Trump: I know
Obama: I did what I could to help her. It was horrible.
Trump: I know. Do you know what I realized? Hillary still hates me.
Obama laughs
Trump: A lot. I know she will never forgive me. We should meet to discuss things.
Obama: I think so too. We can definitely prepare some things.
The video then shows Kamala Harris arriving with Doug Emhoff. “She won’t even look at me,” Obama told Trump, referring to Kamala Harris in this fabricated explanation.
