The year saw Jessica point out there was a problem in their marriage as they celebrated 16 years as husband and wife.
“Everything was rosy for two and a half years, but then they became roommates,” Jessica laughed during an April 2024 appearance on the podcast. Katherine Schwarzenegger PrattThe “BDA Baby” podcast. “And it’s like you’re roommates. You’re just going through the motions. It’s responsibility. It’s a lot of things, like checking boxes.”
“We’re 17 years old. He basically stole my 20s and 30s,” she added. “So, we have the camaraderie and comfort, like, ‘You’re not going anywhere,’ and so, sometimes, you don’t treat these people the best.” You don’t look at their feelings the way you look at other people’s feelings.
Jessica shared Instagram greeting to Cash on the couple’s wedding anniversary in May 2024, where he posted a series of behind-the-scenes photos throughout their marriage.
“16 years of marriage, 20 years together and forever… Happy anniversary @cash_warren. I’m proud of us for making it this far. There is no real set of rules or guidelines that can prepare you for what it means to commit to someone else and choose to be family. Through thick and thin, we constantly found our way back to each other and chose each other. “Salutations to us, I love you,” she wrote in the caption.
By December of 2024, fans noticed that Jessica and Cash had stopped wearing their wedding rings. It was noticeable in the family Christmas photo, which Trigger warning the actress shared via Instagram.
