“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Jane Shah has a new prison release date after a reduced sentence.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Alum Jin Shah has a new prison release date after his sentence was reduced again.
According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate database, Shah is expected to be free before Thanksgiving 2026. The reality TV personality is currently serving time at Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas, and is scheduled for release on November 3, 2026.
This is the third time that Shah’s sentence has been commuted after he was initially sentenced to 6.5 years in prison.
Shah is serving time in prison after pleading guilty to a telemarketing fraud scheme that scammed people, many seniors, out of their money.

Before surrendering to prison in February 2023, Shah posted a statement on social media: “I am surrendering to serve time in a federal prison today. This is the price I have to pay for the bad decisions I made. People have been hurt because of my decisions. While I was in prison “I will work to compensate and reconcile with the victims of my crime.”
Shah’s trouble with the law was chronicled in the Bravo movie Rusk Cameras captured the moment the reality star was notified that the authorities were searching for her. Law enforcement arrived at the show’s filming location, but Shah left the scene and surrendered to authorities later that day. Shah was arrested and charged with wire fraud and money laundering in connection with the telemarketing scheme in which she found herself involved.
