The fallout from the fires will turn California red
Andrew Schultz grills both sides of the aisle. He has no qualms about protecting Democrats or Republicans.
The New York native offered some tough love to both parties in his latest podcast episode titled “Flagrant,” but one prediction sounded familiar.
California’s blue voting patterns could take a hit in the wake of the deadly wildfires that devastated the Golden State, Schultz said. This reflects what Adam Carolla said about the political ramifications of the tragedy.
This blue condition may turn purple sooner rather than later. Maybe even a shade of red.
The show’s panel explored the raging wildfires in California and how survivors will have to rebuild their homes once the smoke clears.
That’s when new problems arise, thanks to big government.
“Once you start building a house in California, you deal with the bureaucracy that’s there… All these people are going to say, ‘Man, fuck the Democrats.’ And ***liberal politics. F***leftist***. “Open this up, turn it over to Texas or Florida and let them do what they do,” Schulz said.

The committee suggested that Gov. Gavin Newsom ease bureaucratic red tape to stimulate a faster recovery. Not so fast, Schulz noted.
“Here’s the thing. If it’s okay to simplify it now, why didn’t you simplify it before?” Schultz asked. “Why are you enclosing all these people? … People will say, ‘Oh, the housing shortage will go away quickly when you make it possible for people to build here.’
“In both cases, people start saying, ‘Well, I guess we’re done with left-wing politics,'” Schultz said.
“Progressivism is dead,” added co-host Akash Singh.
This is what Carolla said days after the fires spiraled out of control. No matter who people blame for the disaster, they will see how intolerant California is toward construction companies Begin to reevaluate their political views.
