The Danish Prime Minister consults the European allies with a herbal growth in Greenland’s growth

Denmark Prime Minister Metty Frederksen visited three European capitals on Tuesday, days after US President Donald Trump repeated his interest in obtaining Greenland.

Over the course of one day, Frederksen met German Chancellor Olaf Schools in Berlin, French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris and NATO leader Mark Retty in Brussels.

Although it was said that the leaders discussed issues, including the Russian -Ukrainian and hybrid attacks in the Baltic Sea, the Danish Prime Minister’s journey was the betrayal of the nervousness he felt in Denmark due to Trump’s repeated comments.

Greenland Island in the Arctic is an area that relies on independent Danish.

However, Trump has repeatedly indicated that he wanted the United States to obtain it for national security reasons – and refused to exclude the use of military or economic power to do so. “I think we will get it,” he said on Saturday.

Greenland Prime Minister Mitt Edge – who pushed for independence from Denmark – insisted last week that Greenlands “did not want to be Americans.”

At a press conference held by Friedrixen and Shawls after their meeting on Tuesday morning, none of the leader Greenland or Trump was directly mentioned.

But when discussing the need to respect the borders and not violate it by force, as Russia did in Ukraine, Schulz confirmed that the concept applies to “everyone” and added, in English: “Who is concerned with them.”

In Paris, Friedrixen told correspondents that she had received a “great support” from her European allies and that there is “a very clear message … of course there must be respect for the region and the sovereignty of countries.”

During its last stop in Brussels, Friedrixen said it “has no reason to believe that there is any military threat to Greenland or Denmark.”

She repeated that she still sees the United States the closest ally of Denmark, but when I was asked about the relationship between Europe and Trump, she replied: “I think every person in Europe can see that it will be different cooperation now.”

Frederiksen and Rutte agreed that the allies need to focus on strengthening defenses in the Arctic, Reuters reported a quotation from the source.

While Friedrixen avoided mentioning the Greenland case directly, the Foreign Minister told Lars Lockk Rasmussen, the reporters that Trump “will not have Greenland.”

“The green people are a people, meaning international law,” Loki said.

When asked if Trump would need to “invade” Greenland to get it, Loki said he would not provide instructions for “Trump” must “get something that should not have it.”

In a press release issued earlier this week, the Foreign Ministry said that Loki spoke to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the two decided to discuss the Arctic security between the United States, Denmark and Greenland at a later time.

“All Americans have heard Denmark say no. But it seems that many people in the United States believe that Greenland wants to be Americans – or that they can be purchased for approval.”

He added: “Many Greenland dreams of independence from Denmark. But if this happens, this is not intended to become Americans after independence … it will never be American.”

on monday, Denmark said it will spend 14.6 billion kronor (1.6 billion pounds; 2.05 billion dollars) to enhance security in the Arctic region, in partnership with Greenland and Faru Islands, its other independent lands.
