- The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye watch pays tribute to the legendary 1965 Monte Carlo race.
Now in its sixth edition LVMH Watch Week It returns with another excellent collection of references from the most famous brands of the French luxury group. With TAG Heuer returning to the grid as Formula 1’s official timekeeper ahead of the 2025 season, the Swiss luxury watchmaker has wasted no time in launching the next generation of motorsport-inspired pieces.
Tag Heuer Formula 1 chronograph
2025 kicked off with a huge announcement of the return of TAG Heuer as the Official Watch Partner of Formula 1, just a few months after the historic 10-year global partnership between LVMH and F1 was confirmed in October last year.
The deal will see LVMH’s flagship brands, such as Louis Vuitton and Moët Hennessy, gain integrated positions within Formula 1’s branding and messaging, with question marks over whether Maison TAG Heuer will also resume its timekeeping responsibilities alongside the Red Bull team….and we are very happy that they have done so.
The Swiss luxury watchmaker launched five new watches in Tag Heuer Formula 1 group – Four chronographs and the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing watch – making an iconic throwback as the first collection to bear the TAG Heuer name in 1986.
Today’s range builds on TAG’s motorsport heritage, with contemporary design and striking colors dedicated to the grille. All four pieces, crafted from 44mm titanium, feature a black opaline dial with red, blue or yellow lacquered detailing throughout, and carry the collection’s “Grand Prix by Night” concept, which reflects dark tones highlighted by bursts of bright colour.
Tag Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing
TAG Heuer has once again raised the bar in motorsport-inspired watches with the latest addition to its Formula 1 collection: the watch Tag Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing. It is the ninth collaboration between the Swiss luxury watchmaker and Oracle Red Bull Racing since the two modern powers on the Formula 1 grid announced their partnership in 2016.
Crafted from 44mm diameter grade 2 titanium, this exclusive Red Bull watch offers cutting-edge materials with a racing-inspired aesthetic. The case is lightweight yet strong, with the tachometer bezel featuring a textured carbon insert – a playful nod to the advanced materials used in Formula 1 engineering (and Red Bull’s recent success).
Take a closer look at the blue opaline dial: the subtle checkered flag pattern takes the wearer into the inherent excitement of the racetrack, while the rhodium-plated skeletonized hour and minute hands add a touch of artistic sophistication and set this special piece within boundaries. From the F1 garage. Even the two-colour belt, blue and red, perfectly reflects the racing livery of Oracle Red Bull Racing’s championship-winning cars.
It’s a reminder that although TAG Heuer will produce more watches that reflect the entire sport, its iconic partnership with one of Formula 1’s most iconic teams remains a cornerstone of its legacy.
Tag Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rally
If you’re not convinced by TAG Heuer’s continuing racing pedigree just yet, take a look at this next piece: a stunning reference that captures the spirit of the legendary 1965 Monte Carlo Rally and the debut of the iconic Porsche 911, Tag Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rally.
Available in two stunning versions – steel and 18-karat gold – this limited edition timepiece is inspired by Heuer’s historic dashboard timers, blending motorsport precision with cutting-edge design. Red stripes on the edge denote the 911’s acceleration prowess, while the ruby red painted packaging, complete with a model of the original rally-winning Porsche 911, brings this collector’s piece full circle.
The Gold Edition is limited to just 11 pieces, while 911 pieces have been made available for the steel co-pilot (see what they did there?). So be quick, these special edition pieces won’t be around for long.
