Job purpose:
The purpose of this position is to help represent the five schools at St. John University (St. John College of Arts and Liberal Sciences, Collens College of Vocational Studies, Topin College of Business, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and Education School), that the graduate admission office is honored.
The student will learn the admission office jobs and will work closely with other student workers, team leader, treatments, advisors, assistant and assistant director to accept postgraduate studies. They will learn the benefits of cooperative transactions with offices and other employees while responding to emails and phone calls and will provide customer service for students who visit the office. They will also help create posts in an email office accepting graduates/social media accounts.
Job responsibilities:
• Assisting the graduates entering the procedures and activities of the offices
• Supervising communications and questions with potential students
• Complete the daily, weekly and month
• Participation and attending the meetings of employee and training students
• Supporting marketing efforts, promotional campaigns and events for the office of graduate acceptance through social media, specifically on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, including Canva and Linktree platforms.
• Update files and materials as needed.
• Providing management coverage as needed.

• Computers, phone, fax machine, copying, scanner, cameras, etc.

Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
• The ability to work well with others.
• Excellent computer skills and experience publishing a variety of content via various social media platforms.
• Knowledge of St. John University.
• The ability to deal with sensitive matters in a professional way.
• Experience with a favorite list.
• Prepare to participate in new projects.
Experience with graphic design and social media (Photoshop, Canva, etc.), but not required.
Skills development fields:
• Social media, communication, time management, multiple tasks, and acceptance
Physical demands:
• The ability to raise and carry the elements that exceed 50 pounds
• The ability to work in the office
Power dates:
• Beginning date: Fall 2024. Expression Date: The School Year (Fall 2024-SPRING 2025) with the possibility of returning to the following academic year.
• Students must be available at least one week before and one week after the start/end of the semester of the training.
• Hours per week: Almost 15 hours (may include rest periods, but they exclude university holidays and weekends)
