Spencer Pratt defends Mandy Moore amid L.A. fires GoFundMe backlash: ‘Don’t you dare’

Spencer Pratt rushed to social media to support Mandy Moore after she received backlash for sharing a GoFundMe for her family members affected by the Los Angeles fires.

Pratt – whose home burned to the ground in the Palisades fire – took to social media, to defend the “This Is Us” star in the wake of the controversy.

“Let me tell you about Mandy Moore. Mandy Moore, when I was younger, she used to scream Mandy Moore. She booked me the hotel because she was a nice friend,” the 41-year-old Hills graduate said. Tik Tok video.

“Just as a friend, she booked my hotel in New York – I’d never been to New York before. I feel like she even booked my trip because I had so much fun being around her. Mandy Moore, I’m riding for Mandy Moore.”

“If I see another TikTok about Mandy Moore and a GoFundMe, I’m going to start stalking you guys,” he continued, adding that he would “ride” for the actress.

Moore, who responded to her critics last week, described Pratt as “the most beautiful eccentric lady ever” and insisted she had been cool “since 2004”.

“If you were nice in 2004, you’ll still be nice in 2025. I’m being very nice. So, don’t you dare come up for Mandy Moore,” he said.

“Maybe take down your content about Mandy Moore because Mandy Moore is real. She’s a great human being. She doesn’t do anything out of pocket — she posts a GoFundMe, which is great. She doesn’t have to pay who.”

He added: “She has her own life, and she probably has her own kids, so don’t come for Mandy Moore.”
