The NBA is almost halfway through the season, and there are speculations about who might make it to the Finals later this year. Shaquille O’Neal had already deposited his money, and that was him Two teams with the best record In the league: Cleveland Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder.
“OKC and Cleveland are in the finals. “This is what I know is going to happen,” O’Neal told TNT.
He may not be wrong as both the Cavs and Thunder are playing some of the best basketball in the league right now, along with having the best record. These two teams faced each other recently, with the Cavaliers coming out on top, but they will have a rematch on January 16 in Oklahoma City.
Despite having the best record in the Eastern Conference, some people still believe that the Boston Celtics are better than the Cavaliers. O’Neill has a different point of view.

Mitchell leads the Cavaliers, and his play is certainly one of the reasons they are so good this season.

There’s a lot of hype surrounding the Cavs and Thunder, and it’s justifiable with the way they’ve played this season. Under coach Kenny Atkinson, the Cavaliers play at a great pace and share the ball at a high rate. Their defense is also good, with Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen handling the paint. On offense, Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland have to be considered one of the best backcourts in the league.
The Thunder have continued their success after last year, but after adding some key pieces, they look legit. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is considered the favorite for MVP by many different people, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he took home the award if he continues this play. Jalen Williams has blossomed as a legitimate weapon for the Thunder, and they’re still doing it all without Chet Holmgren.
There’s a really good chance that these two teams can see each other in the future, but they will have to continue to play at a high level during the second half of the season.
