Season 3 of The Traitors is showing with the highest ratings

Traitors It became more than just a cult favorite.

The competition series opened its third season with its biggest viewing numbers yet: It logged 499 million viewing minutes on Peacock for the week of Jan. 6-12, based on preliminary Nielsen streaming numbers. Season 3 premiered on January 9. (Nielsen’s broadcast numbers include all episodes of the show, so some of that airtime came from previous seasons.)

This is a high series for Traitorswhose previous best showing in Nielsen streaming ratings was 402 million minutes in the week following its second season premiere in January 2024. It is also the best premiere week for any Peacock unscripted series to date and was the top unscripted show in the US United last week across all platforms.

Nielsen’s full Jan. 6-12 broadcast ratings will be released within a few weeks, according to the ratings service’s agreement with the streaming platforms.

The full top 10 charts appear from December 16-22 Virgin River is putting on a strong showing with the premiere of its sixth season. The Netflix drama had 1.82 billion minutes watched, in line with the Season 5 premiere (1.92 billion minutes) in September 2023.
