Saint Helena: "The farthest charging point for electric cars in the world"
The small British overseas territory of St Helena, where Napoleon was sent into exile, is now the proud owner of the world’s most remote electric vehicle charging point. The South Atlantic island currently has just four electric cars, but hopes to go fully electric as part of a wider drive to become carbon neutral. But first, in his policy speech in Parliament, new French Prime Minister François Bayrou warned that the country was now the most indebted in its history.
