RTS will present the Gaza Prize after pressing journalists

After a week of intense pressure, the UK Royal Television Association (RTS) turned into a prize that realizes the work of journalists in Gaza, which “discusses how this happens.”

The Awards Authority raised anger slightly more than a week ago when it canceled the award, and the jury told that it did not want to “add fuel to the fire” around it. But after eight days and followed an open message signed by about 400 journalists, the award will now be held in some way.

“After the decision to stop the award, RTS met this week as part of the previously announced review process in the association,” a spokeswoman said. “The community is still committed to recognizing the work of journalists in Gaza and will achieve the special prize. It discusses how this will happen.”
