In 1996, Vogt placed fourth in the men’s 4+ event at the Championships Dad Phil Regatta. He also placed first in the men’s 4+ category at the New York State Collegiate Rowing Championships that year.
In 1999, Vogt placed second in the Men’s Senior 4- and Senior Men’s 4+ categories at the U.S. Rowing Club National Championships. He also placed fourth in the men’s 4-over at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta that year.
In 2004, Vogt placed third in the Men’s Club 4+ event at the head of the Charles Regatta.
