People can spread bird flu on their cats, as the American study indicates

A study published Thursday by the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggested that people can transfer bird flu to their home cats, with severe consequences.
Two studies of the home status of Michigan were published in May 2024 in the agency’s rean and weekly death report, as fears have grown that the virus could turn and cause a human pandemic.
Since then, it has also appeared that cats can have pets contaminated with the virus – and can spread among the “big cat” species in shelters.
Both studies included the case with pet owners who worked in or near dairy farms affected by bird flu, both of which led to the death of the affected starters.
In the first case, a five -year -old internal cat has been developed with anorexia, weak grooming habits, confusion, lethargy, and nervous degradation.
