Michael Rapaport rips Michael Moore over pro-Palestinian document

Michael Moore hasn’t directed a film since 2018’s “Fahrenheit 9/11.”

The far-left filmmaker spends his time opining on MSNBC, commenting on world events via Substack, and, occasionally, producing documentaries.

Moore recently signed on to executive produce From Ground Zero: Stories from Gaza, a documentary that stands with the Palestinians in the current conflict in the Middle East.

Moore hopes his name and dwindling cache will help the film’s marketing efforts. The movie is offline It has a 95 percent “fresh” rating on RottenTomatoes.com.

The press release for the film, which is available in limited release now, finds Moore calling the Israeli counterattack on Gaza “genocide.” It’s a popular position on the modern left, She was embraced by comedian Michelle Wolfamong many other things.

These Palestinian directors have achieved a cinematic miracle. They made a remarkable film in the midst of what Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have now declared a genocide. The only weapons that Rashid and these 22 brave Palestinian directors in Gaza have are their cameras and their creativity. No director, writer or artist should tell the story of his annihilation. “It is a great honor to stand in solidarity with them and help share their stories with the world.”

Actor/comedian Michael Rapaport would like to speak with Moore.

The “Atypical” alum is one of Hollywood’s staunchest advocates for Israel. He has spent the past year and more highlighting the plight of hostages still held by Hamas. He has shamed Hollywood for ignoring the issue at numerous awards ceremonies, including last year’s scathing Oscars satire.

Rapaport couldn’t let Moore’s film go unchallenged.

The video in question shows a series of clips in which Hamas terrorists torture and/or kill innocent Israelis on October 7. Films like Screams Before Silence, mostly ignored by film critics, covered similarly horrific territory.

For the most part, Hollywood’s MeToo squad has looked the other way after Hamas’s systematic rape and torture of Israeli women. Moore appears to have no interest in making a film about these atrocities.

Rappaport wants him to know all about the same.

Here’s the official description for “From Ground Zero.”

Created by director Rachid Masharawi, From Ground Zero is designed to give voice to the people of Gaza and document their daily experiences, many of which often go unheard by the outside world.
