The German club said in a statement on Saturday that Bayern Munich goalkeeper and Captain Manuel Noir suffered from a setback on his return from a leg injury. Noir was out since his muscles in the leg of the leg while he was celebrating a goal in Bayern’s victory in the Champions League in the last 16 games against Bayer Leverkusen in early March. The 38 -year -old has returned to training with the ball in recent days, but he strengthened the calf muscle in training this week. Bayern said Noir had a “reaction to the calf muscle” and he would need to sit in training “in the coming days.”
The setback in Noir is suspicious of Bayern Bundesliga’s clash at home with Saint Pauli on March 29. Bayern plays Inter Milan in the Champions League quarter -finals in April.
Noir backup, Jonas Orbig, aged 21, did not play U21S in Germany during the international break after his foot injury.
The Bavarian giants also have the Israeli goalkeeper Daniel Bertz and Svif Ulrich as options in the team.
Bayern are a few points of Leverkusen second place with eight league matches this season remains.
