Mandy Moore finds refuge from the Los Angeles wildfires at her friend Hilary Duff’s house

Mandy Moore and her family found refuge in her friend Hilary Duff’s house amid the terrifying wildfires in Los Angeles.
The 40-year-old actress’s brother-in-law, Griffin Goldsmith, took to Instagram to reveal that Hilary and husband Matthew Koma have opened their Beverly Hills mansion to Mandy, husband Taylor Goldsmith and their three children – Gus, three, Ozzie, two, and three-month-old Louise – after… That natural disaster destroyed their home in Altadena, California.
Musician Griffin – who also lost his home – wrote: “Our dear friends @matthewkoma and @hilaryduff thought it wise to set up a charitable fund for us to help move forward.
“Not to mention, they are currently housing my brother’s family. They have taken care of my entire family from the moment this started. I will never be able to thank them enough.”
“This is the kindest thing anyone can do for another.
“They are the most beautiful selfless people we have ever known. (sic)”
Mandy took to social media late last week to reveal the devastating impact the fires had on her home and local community.
“We were able to park the car and walk down our street to bear witness to all the loss. Miraculously, the main part of our house is still standing. For now. It’s unlivable but mostly intact. We lost Taylor and Griffin’s studio,” she wrote. With every tool and piece of equipment they ever owned, we lost our garage and our back house. Every house on our street has had their first child gone and friends, we feel survivor’s guilt. We love this community and will do everything we can to help rebuild and support. Thanks everyone for checking us out and helping us out.
Wind-fueled California wildfires have killed 24 people and destroyed several communities and more than 12,300 structures after sweeping through 40,000 acres of the greater Los Angeles area.
There are evacuation orders for 92,000 residents.
