Make passive income through print on demand

It’s really important for me to grow my passive income, and print on demand is something that helps me grow my passive income. As you can see, I love selling items! I love getting items to sell and also packaging them to go to the buyer. However, I don’t want to invest a lot of money in holding stocks like… Premium signing supplieswe quickly run out of space in our unit for more e-commerce items. Add to that the fact that I really want to increase my passive income, Printing on demand It’s something I loved exploring.

What is print on demand?

Print on demand, sometimes called POD, is where you can sell your custom designs on different types of products.

Instead of ordering a lot of items in different colors and sizes and holding inventory (with significant financial outlay), these items are printed on demand from third-party providers.

The “on-order” bit means that when an item sells, it triggers an order from your supplier, who takes care of everything else for you.

There are a lot of items that can be sold using POD. They include:

  • T-shirt
  • hoodies
  • Face masks or face coverings
  • Cups or mugs
  • bags
  • Office tools
  • Smartphone covers
  • attachments
  • prints

And many more.

Below are some of the print on demand items I sell My Etsy shop.

Why is print on demand so popular?

POD is becoming more popular for several reasons.

The first is low start-up costs, which I’ll cover below. You can start a print on demand business with almost no money at all.

POD is a fairly low-risk business to start with – as long as you create the designs yourself (which you don’t need any experience to do) or pay for commercial artwork and designs.

Another benefit of print on demand is that you can create passive income from print on demand. This means you create your product once, hire your print-on-demand partner, and list your items once, and your print-on-demand partner takes care of everything else for you – printing and shipping.

A print on demand company can scale quickly and react to emerging popular trends. If you make the products yourself, you’ll have to design, order, and store them before sending them to customers.

Start-up costs

One of the great things about starting a POD store is that the start-up costs are really low. You don’t need us Roll stickers!

If you’re able to design all the products yourself (which you can do for free on Canva), you won’t have to pay any design costs.

Since you don’t need to have the products on hand to ship them yourself, the only upfront expense will be the storefront you choose — whether you sell on Etsy or Shopify.

In fact, Shopify already has a 14-day trial!

I know what you’re thinking – where do you start? How are designs made? How to choose a supplier? Where do you list your items for sale?

The good news is that I cover all of these topics and more with my print-on-demand series:
