After losing her Malibu home to the Palisades fire, hotel heiress Paris Hilton decided to help with a cash donation.

“Even though I lost my home in Malibu, my thoughts are with the countless families who have lost so much — their homes, their treasured keepsakes, the communities they loved, and their sense of stability,” she said. Instagram.

“As a mother, I cannot imagine the pain and fear of not having a safe place for your children, so I will be launching an emergency fund through my nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact to support displaced families with young children.

“I’m matching the first $100,000 (~$162,680) of this fundraiser and personally contributing $100,000 (~$162,680) directly to support my non-profit. I’m looking for others to donate and match with me to do our part!”
