When is Jazz Festival 2025?
The 2025 Jazz & Heritage Festival will take place in New Orleans over two weekends. The first weekend runs from Thursday, April 24 until Sunday, April 27. The second weekend extends from Thursday, May 1 and continues until Sunday, May 4. The popular event will be held at Fair Grounds Racetrack.

According to The official website of the festival“The festival celebrates the indigenous music and culture of New Orleans and Louisiana, so the music includes all the styles associated with the city and state – blues, R&B, gospel, Cajun, zydeco, Afro-Caribbean, folk, Latin, rock, rap, country, bluegrass and everything in between.” And of course there’s plenty of both contemporary and traditional jazz. How to get tickets to the Jazz Festival
Currently, “only weekend tickets and VIP packages are on sale now. Single-day tickets will go on sale at a later date,” according to the Jazz Fest’s website. This is the first year the Jazz Fest will offer “special general admission pricing for Louisiana residents, with prices lower than tickets Regular Georgia Jazz Fest Weekend, Single Day Ticket Prices.”
How much do tickets for Jazz Festival 2025 cost?
GA 4-day weekend tickets for Louisiana residents will start at $290. For non-residents, 4-day first and second weekend tickets will start at $329. There will also be the return of “Local Thursdays” on Thursday, April 24 and May 1, which will offer “advanced tickets at just $50 to Louisiana residents.”
