Linda Nolan dies: Nolan singer dies aged 65 as grieving sister Coleen Nolan pays tribute

Linda has been suffering from breast cancer since her diagnosis in 2005, after being told she was in remission in 2011.

By 2017, the cancer had returned as a secondary breast cancer, and continued to spread until it reached her brain in 2023.

Coleen took to Instagram and wrote: “I am absolutely devastated by the death of my sister Linda. Linda was a beacon of love, kindness and strength. Her intelligence, sense of humor and laughter were contagious and her presence could have lit up anyone.” room.”

Linda was part of an Irish family girl group that became prominent in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

The family moved to Blackpool, England, in 1962. They performed under the name The Singing Nolans before becoming The Nolan Sisters in 1974 and then just The Nolans in 1980.
