Life in the White House will be subservient
The upcoming Melania Trump documentary, which Brett Ratner is directing for Amazon, will take viewers behind the scenes of the White House and the transition, following the First Lady as she hires staff and moves into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Trump discussed the project for the first time in Interview with Fox News Channel Fox and friends On Monday morning.
“We started production in November, and we’re filming now. It’s my day-to-day life, what I do, and the kind of responsibilities I have. People don’t really know and they’ll see that,” Trump said. “It’s day to day, from the transition team to moving into the house.” White, packing, setting up my team, the First Lady’s office, moving into the White House, what it takes to make the residence your home, to hire the people you need.”
Amazon confirmed the development of the Melania Trump doc earlier this month, including Ratner’s involvement. Trump is also an executive producer of the film, which is scheduled to be released later this year in theaters and on Prime Video.
Amazon described the project as giving “viewers an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at First Lady Melania Trump.”
According to Trump, the idea for the document began after the publication of her memoirs last year.
“The book has been a huge success, I am very proud, and I receive lots of letters and letters [from readers] “How they enjoy the book, and they love that my fans and people love to hear more from me,” Trump said. “So I had this idea to make a movie, to make a movie about my life. My life is incredible. It’s incredibly busy. And I told my agent I had this idea. So, please, go out and make a deal for me.”
