Kolkata Knight Rides (KKR) has announced Ajinkya Rahane as captain and Venkatesh Iyer as Deputy Commander of the next IPL 2025 season. “We are pleased to be a person like Ajinkya Rahane, who brings his experience and maturity as a leader. Also, Venkatesh Iyer was a privileged player in KKR and brings a lot of leadership qualities. Venky MySore, CEO of KKR: Venkatesh was purchased by KKR at auction for 23.75 rupees while Rahane was purchased for 1.5 Ru ruler.

KKR will start its campaign on March 22 against Royal Challeners Bengaluru.
