Joy Behar Off-Broadway Play ‘My First Ex-Husband’ Susan Lucci adds, more
to update: Susan Lucci, Judy Gould, Tonya Pinkins and Jackie Hoffman are among the additional performers who will star in Joy Behar’s upcoming Off-Broadway comedy. My first ex-husband.
As previously announced, the play is directed by Randall Myler (Love, Yannis) at the newly renovated MMAC Theater on Manhattan’s Upper West Side will feature a rotating lineup of performers, with the cast of four changing every month. The Behar-led cast of Susie Iseman, Tova Feldshuh, and Adrian C. Moore will be first in line from January 29 to February 23.
The second and third cast were announced today. they:
- From February 26 to March 23, the second cast will include comedian Judy Gould (HBO/Comedy Central), Emmy Award-winner Susan Lucci (All my children), Cathy Moriarty (Raging bull, soap(and Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins)The last jelly jam, Caroline or Change).
- From March 26 to April 20, the third cast will be Vianne Cox (The wonderful Mrs. Maisel) * Gina Gershon (Showgirls, bound; *Note: Gershon will be shown from April 2-20 only); Emmy Award nominee Jackie Huffman (Murders Just on the Block, Feud: Betty and Joan), and Andrea Navedo (Jane the Virgin).

The Behar-led cast will screen first, from January 29 to February 23 with the official opening night on Thursday, February 6.
Future cast will be announced at a later date. The rotating female cast “will continue to tell these stories with laughter, grace, compassion and hilarious honesty,” Behar said in a statement.

The show is produced by Rose Caiola (Caiola Productions) and Cyrena Esposito (Red Letter Entertainment) with co-producers Mark Rubinski and Tony Castrigno.
