Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have split after 10 years of marriage and 14 years together. Entertainment tonight and the people reported Monday night.
“Eric and I were living apart and facing a painful situation in our marriage,” Simpson said in a statement. “Our children come first, and we are focused on what is best for them. We are grateful for all the love and support that comes our way, and we value privacy now as we work through this as a family.”
According to the media, the two were last photographed together during a family trip to Mexico in April 2024.
Simpson and Johnson were married on July 5, 2014 in Montecito, California. They have three children together: Maxwell, 12, Ace, 11, and Birdie, 5.
After dating for four years, the former singer, reality TV star and current author and Johnson tied the knot at San Ysidro Ranch in front of 200 guests. Simpson was previously married to Nick Lachey. They divorced in 2006. This was the second marriage for the retired NFL tight end.
