io.net and Injective team up to advance decentralized AI integrations

Injectionwhich is an extremely fast L1 blockchain designed specifically for the financial industry io.neta decentralized distributed computing network, has announced a partnership to explore the integration of Injective’s iAgent AI agent framework with io.net’s decentralized GPU computing network.

Injective is a layer 1 blockchain that is incredibly fast and interoperable, making it ideal for building cutting-edge Web3 finance applications. To help developers create unparalleled dApps, Injective offers powerful plug-and-play modules. The original asset leading Injective and its rapidly expanding ecosystem is INJ. Leading investors are backing Jump Crypto, Pantera, and Mark Cuban Injective, which is incubated by Binance.

iAgent, Injective’s first AI agent-based SDK, is designed to enable the combination of blockchain operations and AI-enabled features. Through AI-based commands, iAgent enables users to send payments, execute on-chain transactions, and perform other blockchain operations using large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI. On November 19, the SDK was released to the public.

The partnership will use io.net’s distributed infrastructure, consisting of more than 10,000 cluster-ready GPUs and CPUs, to strengthen the relationship between AI and decentralized computing. Through the use of decentralized resources, this integration aims to provide AI practitioners with the means to train, improve, and implement machine learning models.

As part of the partnership, the two organizations will explore how io.net’s decentralized GPU network and Injective’s iAgent framework can enhance computational capabilities. They will also look at how Injective can use io.net’s GPU pricing and data feeds in future cross-chain financial products.

Tauseef Ahmed, Chief Business Development Officer at io.net, said:

“This collaboration reflects our shared goal of creating practical solutions for developers and engineers. By combining io.net’s decentralized computing infrastructure with Injective’s AI agent frameworks and tools, we aim to address key challenges in the field of AI and blockchain technology through Reducing barriers to entry for construction companies everywhere.

Eric Chen, CEO and Co-Founder of Injective Labs, said:

“AI using blockchain pipelines has seen tremendous development in recent months, and we are excited to see an increase in adoption of iAgent, which brings AI on-chain. Now, having the support of io.net with their decentralized computing platform to serve the needs of AI developers On-chain, it can further expand use cases and innovation in the booming DeFAI sector.

Decentralized GPU clusters from geographically distributed sources are deployed and managed by io.net, a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN). Designed specifically for low-demand, high-latency use cases such as cloud gaming and AI/ML operations, the IO network now has hundreds of thousands of GPUs available. io.net lowers prices, speeds up lead times, and gives engineers and businesses more choices while democratizing access to GPU processing resources. One can become a capacity provider on io.net or get computing capacity for a fraction of the price.
