Coleen Nolan described her sister Linda Nolan as a “beacon of love” after her tragic death was announced.

Coleen said on Instagram: “I am completely devastated by the death of my sister Linda.
“Linda was a beacon of love, kindness and strength. Her wit, sense of humor and laughter were contagious, and her presence would light up any room.
“Linda’s heart was full of compassion and always knew how to bring comfort and joy to those around her.
“Her memory will live on in the many lives she touched, and while we will miss her more than words can express, we cherish the love and warmth she shared with us all.”
“Rest in peace, Linda. You will remain in our hearts forever,” Coleen signed off.
Linda’s death from cancer at the age of 65 was confirmed earlier today.

Last month, Linda appeared on ITV’s Loose Women, where she revealed she suffered a heavy fall that left her injured while facing ongoing chemotherapy.
