Harry Maguire is late with Manchester United’s victory over Leicester in the FA Cup

Harry Maguire headed a final winner at the GAPP, where the FA Cup holders came from the back to overcome Leicester 2-1 on Friday, and the Ruud Van Nisstelroy deprived of the return of fairy tales to Old Trafford. Bobby de Cordova Red put the Premier League club late in the first half of the tie in the fourth round against United, who lost fear at home. But the introduction of Alejandro Garnacho at the end of the first half gave United at a different dimension, and his alternative colleague Joshua Zerkzi settled mid -road during the second period.
The Robin Amorim team pushed the winner, and finally came when the former Leicester defender Magir went on a free kick in Bruno Fernandez deep in the time of stopping.
The Portuguese director, who is struggling to implement his ideas in Old Trafford three months after his rule, said he was “weak performance” on his part. “We had no energy at first, especially in the first half.” Then in the second half, we played slightly better, with a little increase, and they won the second balls.
“Then we managed to change things, so it was a good result but not a good performance. The coach is the first responsible. When not one team, he does not improve, he is the coach but we are here to do things and see the game, to study the game and try to improve.”
United scored eight goals in two matches against Leicester earlier in the campaign in a short period of time for Van Nestlero, as a temporary president in Old Trafford after the dismissal of Eric Tin Hag. But this time he was the former star striker in the opposition hideout.
United, who beat Manchester City in the final match in Wembley last May, was less confident after five defeats in their past seven games at home in all competitions.
Without teeth United
The host side was lukewarm in the attack in the early stages, but Jordan Aw in Leicester tested André Onana at the other end. Leicester, the 2021 English Cup winners, gave Old Trafford a familiar feeling in the 42nd minute.
Manuel Ugariti gave the ball near the left touch line and Bilal Al -Khanus reached the secondary line before pulling the ball to Wilfred Nidi. Onana saved NDIDI’s shot with his feet but De Cordova Reed nodded home from a close distance.
United players set out in the first half to the choir of Boos after failing to manage a shot on the goal. Amorim Garnacho brought in the first half to appear for the first time Patrick Durgo in a desperate search for inspiration, and Argentina immediately threatens Leicester’s defense.
The tie came in United after a good work of vibrant Garnacho. Dust dust was banned from Rasmus Hojlund from Garnacho’s Cross, but Zirkze used it in an empty network to achieve his fifth goal in this season.
United looked more likely to find a winner but did not reach the 93rd minute, when Maguire went home from the Fernandez free kick. The defender in England seemed to be infiltrated but there was no VAR.
VAN NISTELROROY was angry that the flag outside the side was not uploaded. “We deserved to enter an additional time, and go to the battle in extra time and possibly sanctions,” he said.
“It is difficult to swallow decisions like this at their level.”
United finished thirteenth in the English Premier League, opened the transfer window in January when they started in terms of attack options after allowing Marcus Rashford and Anthony to leave on loan.
Argentine defender Lisandro Martinez was missing after damage to the cruciate ligament during the defeat of last week against Crystal Palace.
