Exclusive interview with encryption expert

in EncryptionWe are always happy to sit with prominent creators in this field, and today, it was a pleasure to speak with Gemini, which is one of the most reliable and thinking exchange exchanges in the world. In an exclusive interview, Gemini diving in the depth of strategic expansion throughout EuropeTheir decision to choose Malta as their MICA axis, and how they convert the user experience with smooth payment options and display a broader code.
Taking into account compliance, education and long -term vision, Gemini doubles its commitment to forming the future of encryption in Europe.
- Can you share the strategic logical basis behind the choice of Malta as a Mica’s authority of Gemini, and what are the advantages that you offer compared to other European Union countries?
We have chosen Malta because of its pre -emptive approach to enhancing innovation between technical assets and digital assets, after it had regular and produced interactions with the organizer before that. We have VASP licenses in multiple judicial powers throughout the European Union, including Malta, France, Ireland, Spain, Italy and Greece, and we considered our options and chose the judicial jurisdiction that supports the best growth plans.
- Gemini has recently introduced a series of product updates and new payment methods. Can you walk across some of the most important changes and how to enhance the user experience?
European expansion was a major priority in 2025, so our product is currently undergoing a large UX to enhance the trading experience of both novice and users.
We simplified the financing experience, improved current payment methods and we recently provided Plaid to all European Union customers. This means that you can easily transfer EUR and GBP using their bank accounts in only a few steps, which saves quickly and easy outside the slope. We have also made the advanced trading platform, activetrader, more customized, allowing you to adapt the user interface to your preferences.
Finally, for institutional customers in Europe, we recently presented the US dollar bars to institutions, which means that you are able to deposit and withdraw in US dollars, as well as reach more than 80 different pairs of US dollar trading.
- What are the main factors that lead to the growth of consumers in Gemini in Europe, and how do you adapt your strategy to different markets within the region?
Accessibility is a major part of growth in Europe, making encryption easier to use and more understanding of all types of users. It is also important to build confidence, especially with those in which we are the first touch point in the encryption space, and therefore it is the key to creating a safe and safe user experience in the local judicial states with our growth in Europe.
We also actively listen to current and potential customers. After its launch in France in November, and the attendance of the Paris Blockchain Week, we realize the importance of resettlement, and we conduct research with French consumers to understand the encryption exchange it needs, and the construction of a product that resonates with them and the intuitive use.
Partnerships such as local banking bars are also a major leadership in this growth, which enhances legitimacy and brand awareness with the prevailing masses, and filling the gap between traditional financial spaces and encryption.
- With the emergence of Memecoins and Altcoins, how does Gemini adapt to its offers to meet this increasing interest among consumers?
The provision of a distinctive symbol is necessary in improving access to customers, as each symbol and Blockchain provides different benefits and different use halls for users. We have provided more options and flexibility to customers by launching new codes in the past few months, including WiF, Bonk, Floki, Pyth, PopCat, OP, PNUT, Goat, MEW and BOME & Arb, which are all now available for trading, and planning more in the coming months. Some of these symbols may act as a consumer entry point in the ecosystem of the widest encryption, which you can then exchange to other symbols while continuing to explore what the encryption offers.
- How do Gemini plan to move in the advanced organizational scene in Europe, especially with the implementation of the mica, and what challenges do you expect?
We believe that the audio organization is necessary to build confidence and integrity in the area of digital assets. For this reason, we participated in a proactive way, our cooperation with the organizers, and we have defended best practices over the past decade, and Mika is no exception. After obtaining MICA approval in the principle from the Maltese regulator, we are now working hard to obtain the full license as soon as possible, which will be the passport in the passport and allow us to provide our services on the scale of the European Union after that.
MICA is an important step in the right direction of the European encryption industry, and we believe that it is generally balanced innovation while providing appropriate guarantees for consumer protection. However, I am sure that with the continued development of industry and technology, the organizational framework must also develop, just as we have seen with Mifid.
Another challenge is to ensure an open and continuous participation between industrial players and organizers. The encryption companies live and breathe this space and can provide the best insight into ensuring this work in practice, not only on paper.
- With the increase in encryption adoption, what initiatives that Gemini pledged to build consumer confidence and improve encrypted literacy in Europe?
in twinWe focus on building confidence with the growth of encryption dependence in Europe. This means continuing to improve our application through a simple and safe experience, including local payment options and easy slopes on/stop users from all levels.
We are also committed to supporting the highest organizational compliance standards and customer asset security. While we are working to secure the MICA license in Europe, we believe this will give users more confidence when using our platform.
We also give priority to education, firmly believing that in order for this asset category to reach a complete entitlement, everyone needs to understand how to move effectively in the space, as well as the risks. So we offer tools such as Cryptopedia, which is an encyclopedia for everything about encryption space, as well as research reports such as encryption.
- What are the following steps for Gemini in Europe, and how do you imagine the role of the platform that develops with the maturity of the ecosystem of European encryption?
Our vision is to become a 100 -year company, supported by a commitment to build confidence, security and innovation, and we believe that this will support us to become one of the exchanges in the region. A major part of this is investing in brand awareness, partnerships, as well as technology, which includes employing major employees throughout the region to achieve these goals. After the recent opening of our office in Malta as a European Union center, we are actively based on local talents for several roles there.
