Coinbase, the top US-based cryptocurrency exchange, has added President Donald Trump’s official coin memecoin to its listing roadmap.
In a post on social media platform X, Coinbase announces Adding Official Trump (Trump) — which launched late last week — to its roadmap.
Its addition to Coinbase’s listing roadmap means the cryptocurrency exchange is considering supporting the asset in the future. Coinbase uses a listing roadmap to prevent insider trading and front-running of tokens before they are listed.
Trump is trading around $58.45 after a parabolic rise since launch. according to Data From CoinGecko, TRUMP’s fully diluted valuation (FDV) stands at around $68 billion, just days after its debut.
Trump launched on the Solana (SOL) blockchain and quickly reached a market cap of around $3 billion, before eventually rising to around $14.5 billion. Trump is set to be inaugurated as the country’s 47th president today, and he has promised to transform the United States into a cryptocurrency-friendly nation that drives innovation within the industry.
Digital asset enthusiasts are also betting on Trump creating a Bitcoin (BTC) reserve as a possibility formation One during his first 100 days on cryptocurrency betting platform Polymarket stood at 54% at the time of writing.
