CNN has announced additional new members to its White House team to cover the Donald Trump administration.
As previously reported, Kaitlan Collins will serve as chief White House correspondent while also continuing to anchor her prime-time show Source. She will return to Washington from New York.
Christine Holmes has been named senior White House correspondent, after previously serving as a national correspondent, including spending the past two years covering the Trump campaign.
Alaina Train, a reporter covering the Trump campaign, will serve as a CNN correspondent covering the White House.
Chief National Affairs Correspondent Jeff Zeleny will also cover the Trump administration, including a focus on the impact and impact of the new administration’s policies.
Others will cover key issues for the new administration. CNN anchor and chief national correspondent Phil Mattingly will focus on comprehensive coverage of the economy, and correspondent Priscilla Alvarez will report on immigration. Kevin Liptak, who has covered the White House for CNN since 2013, will serve as senior White House correspondent.
Betsy Cline will serve as a senior producer in the White House, where she covered the Biden, Trump and Obama administrations.
CNN is the latest network to announce changes to its team at the White House, which is usual with the new administration. In 2023, CNN hired Kayla Tosh, who had been working at CNBC, to serve as senior White House correspondent. A ministry spokesman said that additional missions would be announced in Washington at a later date.
On Capitol Hill, Manu Raju will continue his work as CNN anchor and chief congressional correspondent. This includes hosting Inside Sunday Politics with Manu Raju. Lauren Fox will continue to serve as congressional correspondent, and Annie Grayer and Sarah Ferris will continue on the team as congressional correspondents.
