The climate question raises all societal discussions. In Climate Change Is No More Than It Is (2024), climate scientist Judith Carey points out that this obsession is unreasonable and merely harmful.

On December 14, Hurricane Chido struck Mayotte, devastating the island and causing many human casualties. Moreover, experts and zealots of all kinds are debating whether climate change is partly to blame for this catastrophic event. The question cannot be real, because it is very difficult, and it is not impossible to connect a unique event to a global phenomenon. Just as we had come to say that the strength of hurricanes, in time, increases with the renewal of the climate, there would be no obvious effect if the strength of hurricanes were to find an explanation for it.

By way of retaliation, the main question is that it prompts comment that the human population outside could be better protected. This question, climate scientist Judith Carey asks in her book Climate change is no more than it is now (L’Artilleur, 2024) A clear response and confrontation to dominant discourses. In essence, it is better to aim to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide2 In the atmosphere that is the world’s poverty, which is the main cause of climate weakness.

Giec biases

While a climate scientist followed Giec’s work, Carey did not engage in scientific studies on climate evolution. But in their memory, it is completely laid out at the time when the focus is on the substance carbon dioxide2 It concludes with a biased methodology such as the same function as Giec, since these studies introduce a large portion of uncertainty and that does not lead to a reduction in CO2 emissions.2 The priority is to better protect the human population.

It is very difficult to realize that current climate research is taking place at the United Nations cadre Forward thinking scheme. In 1992, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change specified that part of climate variability was caused by human activities. Implicitly, the resulting part of natural variation tends to filter discussions. Moreover, this agreement itself is part of the principle that reheating is dangerous, without considering its beneficial aspects, and seeks to stabilize gas concentrations for their effect on atmospheric icing. Clearly, eliminating fossil fuels is the path to follow as a priority. Or, notes Curry, it is not so clear that our climatic situation is the best throughout our days if it had not been so before we were industrial. She also suggests that people rarely find “the ones to choose.” [le climat]Manufacturing Industry, Do 18e Century” (p. 37).

It is a good thing that climate change is increasing the frequency and intensity of submergence, isolation, forests, and deforestation. But, Carey said, “there is no evidence that the recent renovation would exacerbate these events.” It supports the same “Part 1 of 20”.e In the last century we have known the benefits of extreme weather events per second, during the period of renewal caused by human activities, which are mainly responsible for observed climate change” (p. 41). There is a belief that extreme weather events are too frequent and dangerous. More appreciation of what happened «to increase the population and [Ă ] Wealth is concentrated in rural areas and other disaster-prone areas” (p. 41). Quite simply, as these events increase, it should be noted that the number of their victims has declined over the course of the century, particularly thanks to economic development.

Develop or reduce emissions

In doing so, she discovers that climate renewal could be dangerous. They are all linked to the fact that the extreme scenarios in Giec are just their own, and may be less likely. Although all that is beneficial, it does not lead to the end of the world, like some fanatics pretend. It may be possible that they get into trouble, more or less serious. Carey supports that, in the face of these problems, it is permissible to discuss policy recommendations for the GCC countries after the priority goal is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.2.

It explains the effect of having a scientific organism capable of achieving the goal of arriving at a consensus that is hardly real regarding scientific activity, which, according to the measure offered by these minorities, will have a decisive role in the practice of progress in science. Or, if building on the search for consensus, this is a living and robust organism, reducing disparate studies and uncertainties. Moreover, it can still be part of the idea of CO2 emissions2 It is unacceptable and even necessary to favor a reduction. Enfin, Curry points out that if the goal is to improve human living conditions, it cannot encourage carbon dioxide reduction2 Before verifying that the economic and social consequences of this magnitude do not fade from the consequences of climate renewal.

At this point, it is noted that at present, the most dramatic impacts of climate change are symptoms of a similar development. Or carbon dioxide reduction measures2 We tend to develop areas that will increase the need for it. Better water helps enrich the people of these areas, through access to good energy, and provides better resistance to other climatic factors by reducing carbon dioxide emissions.2. Additionally, like Carey, it should be noted that reducing emissions “doesn’t help people over many decades, even if they do [mesures d’adaptations] Soulagent les gens Ă  Court Terme » (p. 85).

So, to really understand this obsession with reducing CO22 It is not unreasonable for Carey to imagine the following situation: “If the global climate is regenerating with an actual rhythm unique to natural causes, then humanity feels obligated to restructure the future (possibly through direct capture)2 Atmosphere or solar radiation geometry)? This is very likely; Climate control is just a name, considered useless and/or dangerous. Men are adapting, as they always do, to climate change” (p. 458).

Humidity suggests that, in climate discussions, it trumps the fact that it makes humans suffer that the change that is occurring is problematic. Moreover, we could demand if this were not an image of a lost paradise, linked to the human activity that fuels the climate struggle, as well as the work of climate scientists.
