Celtic fans will be able to attend the second round of the Champions League in the Champions League to Bayern Munich after receiving UEFA. Scottish heroes feared that their supporters will be banned after a green smoke bomb will be thrown on the field from visiting fans during the Celtic defeat 4-2 in Aston Villa last month. Celtic has received a suspended prohibition on selling tickets to travel fans after the fireworks in the Champions League 7-1 by Borussia Dortmund in September.
However, they fled a fine of 10,000 euros (10,400 dollars, 8,340 pounds) to light fireworks and throw things.
“As we said earlier, Celtic made every effort to ensure that our fans can attend this match, and we are pleased that the European Football Association has looked at its detailed presentation,” Celtic said in a statement.
“We can also confirm that the original sentence is in place, as a result of the previous use of fireworks, the last of which is the match against Borussia Dortmund, by a small minority of supporters.
“Once again, we must make it clear that fireworks have no place at all in our matches and more accidents must occur, then again, again, there is a very great danger not to allow our supporters to reach future matches.”
