Tyler Fisher isn’t afraid to poke fun at Presidents Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
It’s sad that we need to label a political satirist in this way. Blame late-night partisan shows and “Saturday Night Live.”
This new normal is why Fisher’s latest specials have been so successful.
His impressions are just one of many reasons to check out Tyler Fisher: No Pardon Needed. The Daily Wire alum’s most recent appearance on FOX Nation was on January 20, also known as Opening Day. It’s a funny mix of teamwork, impressions and biting social commentary.
Recorded at the Austin Comedy Channel, “No Pardon Needed” allows Fisher to showcase his eccentric mix of strong cultural impressions and observations.
And yes, he broke his unique Dr. Fauci impression. He even gave Vice President Kamala Harris a short roast on the way out.
“It wasn’t available to the world’s biggest podcast… Loud Daisies!” he says, referring to how she declined Joe Rogan’s invitation in the final hours of the campaign.
Not Fisher.
“I moved here and the first day I was at Rogan’s. I had two funerals, a wedding and surgery, and I said: ‘Yes, I’m free, I’m available.’
The 45-minute special touches on transgender issues, politics and dating. Fisher now invites both Austin and New York City into his home, giving him two radically different cultures to parody. Some of his most intense material has seen him take x-rays over the past four tragic years.
The “Lady Ballers” star may lean right, but he’s not harsh or overtly partisan. It’s not his fault that progressive culture gives him so much material.
He doesn’t shy away from President Trump’s flaws, including a funny clip that shows the leader’s penchant for tall tales. Later, he shows how Trump can turn almost anything, such as the legal war on steroids, into a talking point.
It’s almost impossible to make up funny Trump jokes in 2025. Fisher does it with ease.
His Biden material is important for obvious reasons. Very few comics have been willing to tell these jokes for longer than four years. Now, some have permission to share it, but Fisher was at the forefront.
Watching him stroll around the club, Biden-style, is the kind of “truth to power” comedy that Colbert and company have ceded to today’s rebellious comics.
“Tyler Fischer: No Pardon Needed” is available Monday, January 20th exclusively on FOX Nation.
