After the women, the Indian men’s team also won the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup title

It was double joy for India in the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup. The Indian women’s team clinched the title for the first time after a dominant victory over Nepal 78-40, before the men’s team followed with a comprehensive victory over the same country. The inaugural Kho Kho World Cup was held from January 13 to 19 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in India. The tournament witnessed the participation of 39 teams in the men’s and women’s categories. The men’s competition included 20 teams divided into four groups while the women’s category included 19 teams divided into four divisions.
