Vienna: A 14 -year -old boy was killed, and four other people were injured in southern Austria, while the police say he appears to be a random attack.
Police said that a suspect was 23 years old in the city of Villach, where the attack took place on Saturday (AEDT). He said he is a Syrian citizen with legal residency in Austria.
The victims were all men. The police said that two were seriously injured, and two minor injuries.
Police spokesman Rainer Dionysio said the motivation was not immediately known. He added that the police were investigating the background of the attacker.
“We have to wait until we get safe information,” he said.
Police said that a 42 -year -old man working for a food delivery company witnessed the accident of his car.
“He led the suspect and helped prevent things badly.
The police said it was not clear whether the suspect was acting alone and was continuing to search for potential potential suspects.
