The main brands are to escape from Oxford Street because they do not attract enough shoppers.
Park House, who is home to Bandura, Swarovski, Urban of Viettars, Pershka and River Island’s pioneering store, said that retailers are trying to cancel the lease.
Microsoft has also announced that it will close the Oxford Street store to focus on “digital growth” after the opening of a 21,000 -foot store six years ago.
“Park House occupies a full urban mass and includes [92,000 sq ft] From retail sale on the basement, floor and first floors.
It is located versus signs, Spencer and Qatari from Selfridges, however it was not a good performance in terms of retail expenses.
“In fact, most retail tenants at Park House are seeking to get out of the building at the earliest opportunity.”
This comes at a time when London residents complain that the famous street is full of American dessert stores and abandoned buildings.
In June 2022, there was a series of strikes by the Westminster Council regarding the achievement of a tax fraud.
More than 30 stores were then accused throughout West End of avoiding 5.4 million pounds in business prices.
